It allows students to choose their specific exam board (e.g., SQA Higher Chemistry) so that the questions and information are more specific and tailored to you. It is available in 4 different languages: English, Gaelic, Irish and Welsh, and has a rating on the app store of 3.5/5 based on 582 reviews.

  • This app is well designed and easy to navigate. The graphics are of high quality, the subtopics/flashcards/quizzes are easy to locate, and the information contained in the app is well presented. 


In-App Purchases – 1/1 

  • The app is free, doesn’t contain any in app purchases, and includes flashcards to revise and quizzes to test your knowledge. 


Accuracy – 1/1 

  • The information included in the app is accurate based on what I’ve seen of the app so far, all the information is related and relevant to chemistry taught in high schools to Higher and A Level students. 


Scope – 0.75/1 

  • It covers a wide range of chemistry topics, with the 3 main topics being: chemical changes and structure, chemistry in society and nature’s chemistry. 


Platform Accessibility – 0.75/1 

  • The app is only available on IOS for iPhone/iPad and Android.
